Eyepiece projection using Meade 26mm Super Plossl and Canon PowerShot S45.

The camera was fully zoomed out for this shot, so there's a lot of vignetting. Detail is however pretty crisp at this magnification, and I quite like the overall effect.

Eyepiece projection using Meade 26mm Super Plossl and Canon PowerShot S45, this time with a 2x Barlow. This is the best of 5 similar images made one after another. The extra magnification significantly affected the quality of the image, which was touched up slightly and scaled down in Paint Shop Pro.

Eyepiece projection using Meade 26mm Super Plossl and Canon PowerShot S45, again with a 2x Barlow, but with the camera in "Movie" mode.

The camera limits resolution to 320x240 in this mode, but allows the recording of many frames in a short period of time. The best 95% (369 in total) were selected for stacking in RegiStax, which was also used to apply wavelet processing. The contrast and brightness were further enhanced in Paint Shop Pro, using "Curves".
